Do you have a child coming up to two years old? Did you know that after their second birthday they may be entitled to ten hours of free early education per week? (Specific criteria must be met) For further information please contact your local health visitor.

Brambles Baby Buddies
Free Drop in session for parents and babies every Friday from 1.30pm – 2.30pm Free Early Education Places available for children aged three and four years, 15 hours per week (term time only). Free funded nursery sessions to suit your needs, either stand alone or incorporated into your year round day care/wraparound.

Julie has a variety of fun and exciting activities planned for the Holiday Club, but places are limited, so to avoid disappointment places need to be booked in advance. If parents/carers require a planner for the Easter Holidays, please contact us.

Our Outdoor Environment
All the children and staff have started to fill pots and trays and have been digging up the soil ready to plant their seeds. Once the plants are ready to eat, the children will pick them, help prepare them with our cook Kath, to use fresh daily in their lunches and healthy snacks.

At Brambles we are all really excited with how successful our growing area has become, this has even rubbed off onto the staff and parents, who are now planting herbs and flowers at home.
We had so much produce from our plants last year, we set up a stall at Brambles to sell some of our produce to parents and carer, but the most important and rewarding reason we started this development is for the learning and enjoyment the children are receiving being outdoors, planting, caring for their seeds to help them grow into snap peas, broad beans, beetroot, sweet corn and so much more.

If anyone is interested in giving up an hour or two a week to help us with our growing area, I know the children and staff would be very grateful. If you don’t have the time we would appreciate any donations for our garden.
